ConnectOAKLAND has very exciting new to share today! Caltrans is starting the official planning process to rethink the 980 corridor and consider its removal as a freeway. After almost 10 years of advocating for a new vision for 980, the time is now! Not only is Caltrans starting the official planning process, but they have extended the planning area to include the entire 980 corridor from 880 to 580.
